Reading Mystique and Destiny's story is messy but it makes sense because lesbians are just messy like that especially when men are involved and one of them is too late to notice that she is actually a lesbian.

However, Destiny is messy af too, because what do you mean you gonna gaslight your wife to have an affair with another man??? What kind of shit is that?

Why can't they just be as digestible as Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr who may be on and off but at least are consistent? You see them gays? They are the healthiest gay couple in Xmen franchise and they kill each other all the time. (Billy and Teddy are still teenagers. We are yet to see what they're gonna be)

Rosemary would be a Greatest generation kid, born early 1920s.

I would not be surprised if she was a result of a last call drinking binge between Gambit and rogue (rogue has gotten control of her powers at this point) before prohibition went into effect. Either that or a result of them taste testing some strong yet safe still whiskey.

Gambit fell back into his their ways and got into bootlegging a little bit, but stops when he finds out rogue is pregnant. Spite, money, and alcohol isn't worth potentially putting another stain on his future child’s life.

Rogue is excited to be pregnant but is ducking suffering. She cannot stand how pregnant people are treated at this time. If another man makes a comment about her being visibly pregnant without her husband around she will be breaking noses. And she does.

With greater control of her powers she's gone full flapper. Very vamp aethstetic. She will make custom fitting dresses if she has to so she can keep up her aesthetic. The loose short dresses are just very freeing.

She's enjoying the dance crazes of the time and so the other x men are having to give her a gentle Inthervention that fast dancing probably isn't the best to do later on in the pregnancy. This only goes so well but after a talk from Gambit she caves.

Magneto has caused mutants to be outed to the world at this time some time around 1917. Trask debuted his metal man powered sentinels in New York built from Great war scrap he imported from all sides and they were caught on film fighting it The world is not super accepting. Logan managed to pull some strings and got an endorsement of the x men and mutants from former president Teddy Roosevelt (they had been friends via a few hunting trips. Probably one of the few men who could keep up with Logan) so thankfully mutants are not public enemy number one, but the discrimination is there and not great. So Gambit and rogue are worried about how their kid will be treated.

They consider homeschooling her but she really really wants to be in public school with other kids. Gambit and rogue are not about to challenge her moxie.

Despite a lot of hardships at first, she manages to put down bullies and make friends. It's not perfect but she's carving out her own niche in her own way. Her parents couldn't be prouder of her.

She does also have a support network through the x men too which helps A LOT. And despite being not the best moms, Irene and mystique are more than happy to help keep their grandaughter safe.

🛩️🧭Rewatching Dial of Destiny was fun, I remember watching it for the first time on the 4th of July last year, I think it still did a good film and delivered a bittersweet goodbye to Indy!🧭🛩️

I know that Teddy is supposed to be Helena's Short Round but so far he's rather generic.

And I'm not saying it only because my main man, Shorty, was much younger and did much more things than just occasional driving and telling Indy where to go.

I'm one hour and fourteen minutes into this movie and so far Teddy is just deadpan snarker, making jokes about Indy's age. The most interesting thing about him is that he seems to be interested in aviation (given that in his first scene he was simulating an airplane cockpit on his table and asking a pilot about what he should do now; and later he's fascinated with American choppers flying in Tanger), but I need something more.

Well, he has more than a whole hour to show more personality. And I suppose that at some point he's going to fly something.

I know ive already written something based on being sunday's childhood crush, but also imagine the absolute comedic potential of it combined with sunday as a stellaron hunter.

You're on your fine day, doing whatever a penaconian might be doing, minding your business when you come across whispering relatives. It's not uncommon to come across gossiping relatives, but this time, something feels off. Their whispering stops when you walk in. It's like a shroud sets over their faces. You continue minding your business until you see a few of your childhood friends crowding around a wall.

It's Sunday, as usual.

But this time, he's got a bounty on his head.

And suddenly, he's worth a lot more than just the Head of The Oak Family.

And its insane. This is the guy who used to nibble on the ends of his wings. This is the guy who used to whine and make a fuss whenever the slightest thing hurt him. This is Sunday. Your childhood friend who clung to you like you were his lost teddy bear.

Sunday, who, seemed to have joined the Stellaron Hunters.

It's not too soon before somehow, someway, destiny has a funny way of bringing you two together again. Only this time, one of you knows what's going to happen next. And it's not you. Definitely not, considering the dark room you end up in, the swarm of monsters outside, and a peeved Sunday standing in front of you, rambling on about his newfound ideals. You have to snap him out of it by shaking him by the shoulders to get him to work! Because for aeons' sake you're going to jump out of your own skin if that swarm makes it in!

And he finishes up the job, slightly irritated still when you nag and chide him about the bounty. Only this time, however, he's surprised. Because you think the bounty could be higher.
